DRFA Administration Officer

Cook Shire Council is looking for a DRFA Administration Officer to join our passionate team.

Reporting to the DRFA Manager, the successful candidate will provide support for all Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangement (DRFA) related activities, including damage data collection, submission preparation and review and collection of data for progress and final

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with the flood damage assessment survey as per DRFA / Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA) requirements.
  • Collect and record data collection of both damaged and proofed assets.
  • Ensure the integrity of the data collected, including filing against loss and backup procedures.
  • Perform the preliminary assessment and secondary review of asset damage data to prepare submission to QRA.
  • Assist the DRFA Manager to prepare acquittal and audit documents and information.
  • Ensure the electronic devices to collect asset data are in operational condition and maintain the general stock register for these devices.
  • Assemble field documents and organise, manage and perform proof of work assessments.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in administration and customer service.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task within short timeframes.
  • Good knowledge and experience with computing devices and software applications.
  • A team player with a strong work ethic and customer service skills.
  • A valid QLD Driver’s Licence.

$77,302.00 per annum + applicable allowances

15 days personal leave

Superannuation

11.5% Superannuation contributions
