What you'll be doing
- Conducting daily aerodrome serviceability inspections before scheduled aircraft movements.
- Monitoring and reporting aerodrome conditions and issuing NOTAMs when required.
- Inspecting and maintaining airport lighting and emergency facilities.
- Maintaining airside and landside areas, including mowing, gardens, fencing and aerodrome markers.
- Maintaining the passenger terminal, toilets and surrounding facilities to a high standard.
- Undertaking airside security checks and ensuring vehicles comply with aerodrome requirements.
- Carrying out aircraft refuelling duties, including fuel testing, stock checks and fuel installation inspections.
- Performing routine servicing and maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Providing ARO coverage across the roster, including weekends and public holidays.
What we're looking for
You will be a friendly, proactive, and detail-oriented individual with a passion for excellent service.
- A current Aircraft Aeronautical Radio Operators Certificate (AROC).
- A current Aerodrome Reporting Officer Certificate.
- A current Class C Manual Driver Licence.
- Strong knowledge and skills in aerodrome operations and maintenance.
- Experience in fuel dispensing.
- A strong commitment to safety, customer service and professional standards.
- Possess or be eligible to obtain a Queensland Firearms Licence.
