An amazing opportunity exists for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our busy Buildings and Facilities team on a full-time basis.

This position is responsible for electrical trade skills in construction and maintenance, inspecting Council assets, maintaining operation of electrical devices and facilities and conducting general maintenance tasks as needed.

We are seeking someone who:

  • is professional and efficient in their approach to both internal and external customers
  • holds a recognised electrical trade qualification
  • has extensive experience in installing, inspecting and maintaining complex electrical controld and instrumentation circuitry
  • is proactive towards workplace health and safety
  • is positive and team orientated

76 hours per fortnight

9-day fortnight (every 2nd Friday off)

Remuneration:

Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream C: Division 2, Section 2) Award – State 2017 – Level  + OAP

$89,841 per annum + applicable allowances

Leave Entitlements

5 weeks annual leave

15 days personal leave

Superannuation

Up to 12% Superannuation contributions
